The county provides Weed Abatement services by contract to the following cities:

Campbell, Cupertino, Los Altos Hills, Los Gatos, Milpitas, Monte Sereno, Morgan Hill, Palo Alto, Santa Clara, Saratoga, Undeveloped/Vacant parcels within the city of San Jose city limits, and all Unincorporated areas of the county.

Service Requests for hazards on parcels that have structures built on them within the San Jose city limits are handled by San Jose City Code Enforcement (408) 277-4528

Each city located in Santa Clara County is assigned a Tax Rate Area code by the assessor's office.

To determine/verify your jurisdiction/Tax Rate Area, have your street address ready and follow these steps:
